Nov/Dec 2018 complete guide.

   The 2018 NOV/DEC is expected to officially commence on Saturday, September 1st 2018 with Integrated Science as the first core subject.

The following are all that candidates needs to know and do to ensure a successful exam. This will also help reduce confusion and frustration.

   Firstly candidate should expect to receive their ten digits index number as a Text message from WAEC, this is how it will be like

"Dear (your name), your index number for WASSCE PC 2018 is ********** make sure you quote this number on all your documents for this years exam thank you."

Candidates who didn't receive this message for any reason should not worry, you can still access your index number using your invoice number to check online, log on to WAEC WASSCE for private candidates portal, click on the print index number bottom and insert your invoice number then submit to have your index number displayed on your screen.

  Few weeks after the receipt of index numbers, candidates are supposed to go to the portal and prind their admission notices.
 
             What is admission notice?

Until recently, candidates were allowed to choose an exact center where they wish to take all their papers, but as a result of various malpractices the council has decided to allocated different centers to candidates for different papers but this centers are within the area of the candidates.

So admission notice is simply a document that contains all the papers a candidate is supposed to take, the center to go and the date of the paper. Below is a sample:

You can print your admission notice from the WASSCE for private candidates portal on WAEC' s website

Go to the portal and select 'print admission notice' ,Insert your index or invoice number, your Name and date of birth and submit to access it.

After printing your admission notice, you now know when and where to take all the papers you registered for.

                       THE DAY OF THE EXAM.                 

Report to to the center if possible an hour before the time on the timetable, make sure you have a printed copy of your admission notice because you will not be allowed to the exam hall without the admission notice.

At the center, hang around patiently, as candidates will be called and informed about the exact room or block each candidate will have to go,

When the bell is ranged, candidates should patiently walk to the exact block you were allocated based on your index number with your ADMISSION NOTICE (very important)

Candidates are to submit themselves for a search as well as biometric verification, after that
 search for the room that has the range of index numbers in which you Fall into and enter to find your seat, your index number is written fully on your seet, now seat patiently for the papers to arrive.
