WAEC Releases 2019 BECE results for School candidates.
A total of 517,311 candidates from various private and public Junior High Schools took this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination.
In a press realease signed by Mrs Agnes Teye-Cudjoe the head of Public affairs of the West African Examination Council on Thursday August 29, 2019,
A total of 173 candidates had some of their results canceled for carrying foreign materials to the exam hall while 19 candidates had their entire results canceled for bringing mobile phones to the exam hall.
The council has also with-hold 2,497 subjects results for alerged malpractices pending conclusion of investigation.
STATISTICS
Total number of candidates:.... 517,311.
Males:..........................................263,602.
Females:......................................253,729.
Number of schools:....................16,871.
Exam centres:.............................1,880.
Candidates absent:.....................5,320 (1.03%).
The results are now available on the council's website for candidates who so desire to check, meanwhile it will soon be dispached to their various schools.
